Our Christmas Season in a nut shell

So I have not been keeping up with all the goings on this month so I am going to catch up on everything right now! (including Christmas) So here we go!!

Decorating for Christmas:
This year I actually had some really cute decorations for Christmas so I was able to be festive! I love Christmas and how everything sparkles. It definitely helped us get into the Christmas spirit!

Holiday Baking

I made a Yule Log for a church function, and it had been 5 years since I learned how to do it in school. Boy am I glad I learned back then because it would have taken me a lot longer to figure this one out if I hadn't!

I also did a cookie exchange with some friends, but instead of making cookies I made homemade marshmallows and cut them out into gingerbread men and stars.

Preschool

Lexi had a Christmas program at school and this time she actually SANG! Wohoo! It was kind of off and on but still a big step forward!
It was so cute to hear them all sing. During one of the songs the girl in the pink dress decided to start fixing Lexi's hair! It was so cute! You gotta love 3 year olds!

Afterward she had her class party where she got presents, goodies and decorated a cookie

Now for

CHRISTMAS

So I don't know if you will be able to tell whose stuff is whose but take a lucky guess.........

Lexi was very happy with what Santa brought her! She wasted no time at all!

Conner couldn't get enough of all the balls he got from Santa! He LOVES to come up to you and say "EH GO!" And chuck the ball across the room for you to go get and throw back to him. He is so sweet and fun! Definitely all boy!

So have you ever seen a PINK Christmas?

Well I guess there is a first time for everything!

We had a great Christmas. We have been so blessed and are so grateful for the Lord's hand in our lives. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and that your New Year will bring you more blessings and happiness. We love you all!

Nicolette wanted a pink hair piece too. I told her maybe I would get her one for a first year anniversary gift.

I still can't believe you and your acrobatics in getting your Christmas decorations up! It all looked great though. And your marshmellows were really tasty. Glad you made them. :)

Hey, thanks! And may I say your house looked beautiful with all of the decorations! I'm very impressed you got them all up there. Lexi's Christmas program looked so cute. Kimo missed his b/c we had a HUGE snowstorm that delayed traffic a hundredfold so we ended up turning around before we met an untimely death. Ugh...I hate the snow. Maybe next year.
