A New Christmas Tradition

Every year our family buys a real Christmas Tree! So this year we decided to check out this TREE FARM that some friends of ours had told us about last year. We are so glad that we did because it was a lot of fun! Not only is it a good time, but it was cheaper than Lowes or Home Depot, and the trees were prettier!

Step 1: Take a hayride down to the grove of trees

Step 2: scour the land for potential candidates

(while riding piggy back of course)

Step 3: Make your decision

Step 4: Chop it down

Step 5: Haul it to the side of the road to be picked up with all the other victims

Step 6: Bag it up and take it home

Last but not least decorate it to your liking!

Did I mention that we chose a HUGE tree both tall and wide and it is not so easy to keep it up straight. We love it though! We will definitely be back every year!

We LOVE your tree! And we are So jealous you actually have a tree farm where you can pick out your own tree. We have a fake one this year...lame for us. Maybe next year you can come up and help us pick one out. Ü

I'm not actually a lover of real Christmas trees but that does look awesome!! Sounds like lots of fun getting it, too. :-)

I'm envious because my allergies don't allow me to have a real tree in my house! boo hoo
But the hunt for the perfect one sounds like it was fun - and I'm so proud of you for documenting the event with photos!
Gorgeous finished product! ♥

Your tree is really pretty. And you have the prefect place for it in your house. A whole room just for your HUGE tree and all the presents I'm sure Santa will bring! :)

That bow on the top is FABULOUS! Amazing--really. The whole tree is very very festive (along with the rest of your house too of course!)
