HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!

We had such a fun 4th of JULY!! Crazy as always, but fun none the less! It started on Thursday when I had some friends over to make cookie bouquets. They had asked me a long time ago to teach them and I finally picked a day. I have never done a 4th of July so I thought we would try it. It was SO FUN and they turned out SO CUTE! Everyone did such an awesome job! When we lined them all up I couldn't get over good they all looked!

This one is mine and I am having a hard time eating it! I want to preserve it and keep it around for every 4th of July!

Can I just tell you that cookies on a stick are BRILLIANT! Why you may ask..

well for ONE you can leave them on your counter and as you walk by you take a bite here and there and not even use your hands! (right Kasia)

and TWO don't you like dipping a cookie in milk? Well who doesn't! This way you hold the stick tip your cookie over and dunk it in the milk! Forget about messy hands that is a thing of the past! And going back to reason #1 you can just stick back in it's spot and come back for more LATER! BRILLIANT!

So there was more than just cookies to our FOURTH. We woke up the morning of and went to our Wards pancake breakfast! Pretty YUMMY!

Then we rushed off to open our SNOWIE stand in downtown McKinney. It was pretty crazy so that consumed MOST of our day intermixed with Conner hanging out with one of his many girlfriends

some of our friends hanging out with us all day( because we needed a few extra hands at the stand), and then off to our small town's 4th of July Celebration! Most of our really good friends and some of my family were all there to join in on the fun with us!

Dave led the kids in a little singing chorus. It was so cute. And Maisey couldn't get close enough to hm!

Sometimes I forget why I like living in a small town and last night I was reminded! It was so much fun!The FIREWORKS were awesome! We had such a good time and crashed when we got home! Thanks Everyone Can't wait to do it again next year!!!

P.S. I know the pictures at the fireworks aren't very good, but I had no idea what I was taking a picture of! Sorry everyone!
