So this year we were able to plant our garden and it has been pretty successful. This is the largest item we have harvested. Dave calls it our "LUNKER" and it was a beauty!
Check it out:
In the garden before it was ripe for the pickin'

RED, FIRM, JUICY and DELICIOUS
and ridiculously larger then a silver dollar!
When I cut into it the aroma was overwhelming! It smelled so divine.
And it tasted better than it smelled.... YUMMY!
I LOVE Homegrown food!

That is WAY awesome!! We don't have any tomatoes yet but have been enjoying our own onions and cilantro. Isn't it just amazing how much yummier and neater it is to eat your own-grown food?
Mmmmm....can't wait to start mine next year. at least yours doesn't have any yucky diseases!! congrats on being so diligent!
hows the ice machine business going?
Is that kielbasa in your pasta salad? Can you send me the recipe?
Yeah, in the land of eternal winter, my tomatoes won't be coming in for at least another month. :(
Oooh- that looks delicious! Share your recipe! Our garden isn't doing so hot this year...or any year for that matter. haha I think we just are slackers when it comes to watering it. Ooops! How's the snow cone business going? I think of you guys every time I see it off the freeway. :)
