Christmas Past

We had a great Christmas. The only downside was that Dave was pretty sick on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day:( So he missed out on some family fun. But we have been so blessed this year and are so thankful for how the Lord watches over us. Here are a few highlights from the past week.

The Saturday before Christmas we got family photos taken. These are a few

The Kids with their new rides! Conner calls his a "Baby Motorcycle" It's a good thing Santa got one for each or their could have been little extra fighting:) (p.s. I didn't color coordinate their Jammie's with their bikes)

After Conner saw his hot wheels ramp he had no interest in opening presents. It was pretty funny

He played with EVERY little thing he got. It was so cute he went through his stocking and got out each little item.

We also got to take part in our family White Elephant gift exchange

As you can see there were some real winners!

We were also blessed with a WHITE Christmas so we took advantage of the one day of snow!

The kids really got into it!

We had a great time as a family and reflecting on how blessed we are to have each other. Hope everyone had a Christmas Season as Merry as ours! We are excited to see what this year brings!

Happy New Year!

SPOOKTACULAR Halloween!

We had MANY Halloween festivities so I am going to post about the kids first. So there will be more to come......

I LOVE Halloween for several reasons. One being my kids costumes and making them so ridiculously cute! I love how excited kids get about dressing up and trick or treating. Another being I get to use the word SPOOKTACULAR! I know random but for some reason I just love that word! So this years costumes definitely lived up to the ones in the past.

Our Trick or Treaters

The KING in his early years

Lexi was a pretty WITCH!
This is the rest of the bling on the King's cape

We went to a friends house on Halloween that lives in out neighborhood for some festivities and then went Trick or Treating. These are all of the kids ready to head out the door to claim their goodies!

Lexi wanted to see how it felt to be the King as well

It was a really fun day! Happy Halloween!

Funny moments

I was looking through photos tonight and came across a few that I had forgotten about. My Lexi has always been such a funny kid, but I don't think I ever laughed so hard at her as I did this one day. We were at some store and these ladies were talking to her saying how cute she was and all the things people say to your kids. Anyway she wasn't doing anything (of course) except standing there and then I said "Lexi do a funny face" and this is what she gave them (this was a reenactment)

I have no idea where this came from. We were all dying! It may not be as funny to all of you, but when there is this little 18 month old looking at you all sweet and then instantly contorts her body into this! Pretty shocking and funny. She still cracks me up! I love that kid.

A few months Ago....

So about 2 months ago my baby boy turned 2! I can't believe he is already 2. We love our little man so much. He has brought so much joy into our lives. He is ALL boy and makes us laugh daily if not hourly with all the crazy boy moves he does. He has filled our home with love and we are so grateful that he is a part of our family! Here are some pictures of the celebration!
The Cake/cakes
If you know Conner you know why we chose sports as his theme. I have never seen a 2 year old dribble a soccer ball, hit a baseball that is pitched to him or toss a ball up with one hand and hit it with a full sized bat with the other hand! Footballs he holds just like a quarterback. He even pats it right before he cocks it over his shoulder and throws for a long pass. It is crazy how coordinated he is. His daddy is very proud, especially the soccer skills.
He got the WHOLE baseball!

This one came out fuzzy for some reason, but I still had to post it because this is the smile he gives us when we tell him to look at the camera!

Oh how we love you our funny boy!
